Yearly Events

For all adults, held at a local restaurant. Cost is based on what you order.

Held at the church on the Friday before Easter, this is a great time the entire family to learn how the Passover Service relates to our communion service.

A Haggadah is a special booklet given to each person, containing the Passover readings and explanations.

Continental breakfast; volunteers sign up to bring needed foods. Following the breakfast, we meet in the sanctuary for worship.

The Mother's Day Tea is for all daughters and mothers and is usually held the Saturday before Mother's Day.

The Missions Commission hosts this fun evening, where new and gently used items or services are collected and auctioned off to the highest bidder; a plate of cookies might sell for over $30. Proceeds are donated to a specific need for a missionary or mission organization.

Men and boys are invited to join us for Skeet Shooting at Creswell Clay and Target Sports on Father's Day, at 2 pm.

Cost involves a nonmember fee of $2 plus $8 for 27 birds. Bring your own guns and ammo, as well as safety equipment.

At the home of a church member. Families are asked to bring a main dish and a side dish or dessert and a game or two.

Usually held in the gym at Riverside Church. A special offering is taken for a missionary, missions organization, or a special need.

A special visitor from the past presents and explains the Christmas story told in a unique way. Special music is also included.

Scripture reading interspersed with Christmas carols. The evening is closed with the singing of Silent Night while lighting candles.

Held in the home of a church member, each family brings a main dish, a side dish or dessert, and a favorite game. The hardy will stay until midnight.
