OUR CHILDREN’S AND YOUTH MINISTRY exists to point kids and teens to Christ and to help them grow in their relationship with Christ. Volunteers give of their time to study, teach, and encourage this growth.
Sunday School, 9:45 am
Sunday School classes are available for all ages, including nursery, at 9:45am. On the first Sunday of every month, we meet in the sanctuary for King’s Quarter before separating into classes.
AT THE PRESENT TIME all classes have been cancelled due to the coronavirus restrictions. Check back and we will let you know when classes will resume.
Kindergarten through 5th Grade meet together for music and prayer, then separate into age appropriate classes. Volunteers teach directly from Scripture and plan activities to encourage them to grow in their knowledge and relationship with Jesus.

Awana is a fun children’s program that includes games, Bible memory, refreshments, and Bible lessons. The name is taken from 2nd Timothy 2:15-16: “Do your best to present yourself to God as one Approved, a Workman who does Not need to be Ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.”
Clubbers purchase handbooks to work in; completed sections earn Awana shares to spend at our club store. Special events during the year include: Awana Grand Prix, special theme nights: Pie in the Face Night, Pajama Night, Quiz and Store Night, Balloon Fun, etc.
AWANA IS CURRENTLY CANCELLED until further notice. We hope to see you in the fall!
Summer camps are a great way for children and youth to have fun while spending time in God’s Word. We have access to two youth camps in Oregon: Camp Harlow (owned by First Baptist Eugene) and Camp Tadmor near Sweet Home (owned by CB Northwest). Children/youth who attend CG Bible regularly are offered the opportunity to “earn” scholarships by memorizing Scripture, visiting nursing homes, helping set up events, teaching a Bible class, and other activities.
CAMP HARLOW is offering day camps this year at a reduced price
